The precious honey from the Manuka bush (Leptospermum scoparium, also known as South Sea myrtle), which is related to the Australian tea tree, is not only valued as a delicacy in New Zealand, but is also traditionally used internally and externally.

Store below 25 degrees. Manuka honeys with a certified MGO content are also suitable for hot drinks, as the ingredient methylglyoxal (MGO) is largely heat-resistant.
