In Ayurvedic teachings, the Amla fruit (Amalaki, Indian gooseberry) is also known as ‘the fruit of youth and beauty’. The Amla fruits contained in Chyavanprash and the majority of the herbs are harvested in the expansive jungles of Gurajat. Sharkara, the Ayurvedic sugar, is used as a sugar basis.
Just take 1-2 teaspoons in the morning and evening, neat or combined with warm water or milk to make a delicious drink.
